Song of the Storm

drops shattered the silence of the forest
reeds rattled in a building breeze
grey darkness absorbed the green of the forest
as clouds boiled northward
rising above the wind was a song
which sucked the life out of other sounds

loud rustles of trees filled the air
rain batttered away a fast tempo
the wind added it's voice to the band
giving the music new strenght

once again, silence
